Well, I suppose that my not-completely-orthodox usage just triggered a very
uncommon situation.
Sometimes, writing "bad" code can lead to useful things ;-)
What's strange is I wasn't able to reproduce it with the old PyQt, but that
may also be related to the similarly old Python version.
Yet, I'm glad we've been able to sort this out.
Thank you so much Phil, and also thanks to ekhumoro for the usual support
and insights (I didn't know about autoDeleteReplies and
AutoDeleteReplyOnFinishAttribute, I'm a bit ashamed...).
