some time ago I reported to mailing list about bug

and you asked small test programm for it.
There is modified file, from the QScintilla native example.

How to use:
compile, open
When focus will be at the first symbol of first line, press down and do not 
release while cursor will not be at bottom. When it's mooving you will see 
that background at right from text on a moment changing his color to more 
dark.
It's visible not every time, try to move cursor few times.
