Well.  I think that's been my trouble as well.  But I've decided that
life's too short.  I make my money writing applications not trying to
install them.

If it's not possible to package things up for Windows to make
installation easier than it currently is, then I really think someone
needs to look at the documentation so that at least people can follow
along step-by-step.

But, I'm not complaining.  Just drawing a line under this one and trying
to be helpful in my comment.

Many thanks to all who have helped (especially Laurent), but I'm afraid
I've got better things to do than torture myself trying to install an
IDE that I'm not desparate for anyway, since it just works under Linux.
