[Eric] eric4 on ubuntu 8.04?

Hi,
I am on Ubuntu 8.04 64bit from yesterday. I have installed Eric4 using
Synaptic Package Manager and it was installed from the repository like a
charm. After installation it is possible to find it in: Applications ->
Programing folder.

As I was not happy with the default monospace fonts in the Ubuntu I have
installed the windows fonts (using informations from following link)
