ah, ok.

maybe I'll do that.

And to answer the quesiton on the other related post, there's nothing bad about "enter" or "escape", it's just that I'd like to be able to write all I want without being forced to accept/ignore the suggestions.

I know I can disable the auto-complete but sometimes it is very very helpful.

That feature is not provided by QScintilla. You should post a request on the 
QScintilla mailing list.
