I hadn't compiled the bindings before on this computer, so I'd like to
make a suggestion about the error message in the sip ./configure:

checking for the Qt meta object compiler... not found - Qt support
disabled

Can it say something more useful like: "Doh! You forgot to install the Qt
development libraries?!?"
