Cool. I am interested in controlling noatun myself. Can this be done with 
IOSlaves?

It would be a good idea to put your examples somewhere on a Wiki. This way it 
can easily grow into a very nice tutorial. On the Python Wiki [1] there is  
already some information about PyQt.
