[PyQt] QFuture replacement for PyQt?

I find twisted great for qt4 and lately qt5.
By way of example, attached is browser session video capture Qt 5.3.1 and
CV2 using twisted.
You'd need qt5reactor i.e.
https://github.com/nehbit/aether-public/blob/master/qt5reactor.py to run.
